Congrats LauraEvangeline! Email me at paiget@northridgepublishing.com to claim your STITCHED kit!
Today we’re giving away a spot in the class I’m teaching the entire month of April at Studio Calico called STITCHED!

I stitch on seriously 90% of my layouts and cards. I LOVE the unique and home-spun look machine and hand stitching gives my layouts. In this class I’ll be teaching (along with some talented scrapbooking friends – Allison Waken, Amy Tan, Becky Novacek, Beshka Kueser, Carissa Wiley, Erin Stewart, Gina Lideros, Heather Leopard, Katie Ehmann, Lea Lawson, Leena Loh, Lexi Bridges, Meghann Andrew, Nicole Samuels, Pam Baldwin, and Robyn Werlich) 24 unique techniques for adding stitching to your layouts, cards, home decor pieces, and Project Life® spreads.

Here is the kit that ships with the class full of journaling cards with stitching templates, exclusive stamps, an actual stitching template, wood veneer stitchable tag, gold floss, and more!

There are also bonus digital files: die cut files by Hello Forever and Julie Campbell, printable journaling cards and accents by Hello Forever, and a printable stitching template by Julie Campbell. Check ‘em out:

I’ve seen them with mine own eyes, printed them, cut them, stamped them, stitched them, and I must say, they’re stellar!

I’ll be making 8 layouts and 4 how-to videos that will post all throughout the month of April.

Watch a short little video as I walk through the class supplies and demonstrate why you won’t want to miss this class:

Here is a close up of one of the journaling cards I stitched through with red/pink ombre thread. Can’t wait to add this to a layout!

Here’s a little sneak peek of one of the layouts where I stitched with the template the word “shine”!

ANNND, here’s an exclusive offer!:

Registration for STITCHED will close on 3/31/2014 at 11:59pm EST. Class begins on April 1, 2014!

To enter to win a spot in the class and receive the class kit leave a comment on this post by Thursday March 20th 2014 and tell me how you use stitching on your layouts/cards/projects! I’ll announce the winner next Thursday! GOOD LUCK!

Recently purchased a sewing machine to use for paper crafting and would love to learn some new ideas for using stitches on cards!  Thanks for the chance to win a spot!

This looks like such an amazing class! I have a sewing machine, and would love to know how to use it for papercrafting. And I recently bought some floss and have been trying to figure out hand stitching. I think stitching really adds such a sweet touch to projects. Lately, in addition to cards, I've been making notebooks and would love to know how to add stitching to paper. This is exactly the class I've been looking for to take my papercrafting to the next level!

I love to stitch on my cards and pages too - I'm really into handstitching just now - I love to combine masking and stitiching

I use stitching on almost every project, but it's usually simple machine stitching with white thread. ;) I'd love to get more ideas!!

I like to sew around the edges of my layouts. It just adds that finished look. I have a sewing machine and would love more ideas!

Ive never done hand stitching on my layouts before, I have only ever used my sewing machine, so If I won this Class and kit it would be a great way to start .

This class looks adorable! I'm pretty sure I've stitched on every card & layout I've made since 2000-something. I think I would feel weird if I didn't at this point. The embroidery style stitching is not something I've tried though. I think it would be so fun!

I have done some stitching on my cards.  I have stitched sentiments and small embellishments.

I love stitching on my cards/layouts, but it is usually for accents and machine stitching.  I'd love to break my mental block and do some hand stitching/make stitching the star or the show.  Thanks so much for the chance to win!

I have only stitched on a single page & that was only because i was attaching fabric to a page.  So I sound like I could really benefit from this class, don't I?

This sounds like an amazing class!  I have done some stitching in the past on cards and layouts but could definitely use some more instruction!

I would dearly love to take this class!! I have not yet tried hand stitching on a layout but have done some machine stitching on cards.  I don't feel super confident at it yet!!

WOW - this looks and sounds like an EXCITING class - even your little XXXX looks cute!!!

LOVE hand stitching, I have only had one (bad) experience with machine stitching, so STITCHED sounds like just what I need to learn and get confident with my machine & threads.  I mainly make cards and have hand stitched around embellishments, flowers and matting layers, some straight stitches and basket stitch, now that I think about it, I also hand stitched around a flamingo layout a couple of years ago too.  I think that it adds another interesting dimension to any project and is well worth the extra time it takes to include some.

THANK YOU for the chance to win a spot in this class :)
